5:30 pm: Winterlude 20225:30 pm: Winterlude 2022 Come join your neighbors for Winterlude 2022!
Winterlude, an outdoor winter party, hosted by our Livable Town Committee, will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, starting at 5:30 pm on Harvard Ave., outside the Town Hall. The street will be blocked off.
We will have fire pits, baked potatoes, hot dogs and marshmallows and hot chocolate for all to share. BYOB.
We are also selling luminaries ($2 apiece) to lend a festive air and to benefit the Greentree Shelter, a transitional shelter for homeless families, primarily single mothers and children, on Greentree Road in Bethesda. All the money collected will be donated to the shelter. The luminaries will line Harvard Ave. during the party. If you would like to purchase luminaries, please Venmo Dan Spealman (@Dan-Spealman) $2 per luminary and we will make sure they are ready at the party.
The sooner people reserve their luminaries the better, so that we can be sure we have enough supplies. They can also email (cmspealman@glenecho.org) to reserve and then bring exact change or a check if they'd prefer.
If it is raining, we will reschedule. Online 301-320-4041 |
